Iranian short ‘Bullets of Baptism’ to go to UK

Iranian short flick ‘Bullets of Baptism’ has been selected to compete at the fifth edition of the Crossing The Screen (CTS) film festival in the UK.

Directed by Zivar Hojjati, the 12-minute film ‘Bullets of Baptism’ tells the story of a man encountering himself.

The dialogueless short is a realistic depiction of this man in different situations.

The short film has only one character, played by Akbar Kholqi, and everything is happening in his mind.

The CTS is an international film festival that aims to promote innovative and independent films from around the world.

The festival tries to discover and celebrate new talents of cinema who transcend storytelling.

Due to the current situation caused by the Covid-19 outbreak, the 5th edition of the CTS will be held for the first time online-only on November 26-29, 2020.
